ORGANIZATION OVERVIEW
AgriNovus Indiana, an initiative of the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP), strengthens Indiana’s competitiveness by advancing one of the nation’s most dynamic agbioscience economies — where agriculture, food, biology and technology converge. Anchored by global industry leaders, research institutions and an expanding innovation community, Indiana is uniquely positioned to lead the next generation of growth across the bioeconomy.
AgriNovus serves as coordination infrastructure for this ecosystem, aligning industry, research and capital to accelerate innovation, attracting investment and expand economic opportunity across the state. The organization advances this work through three strategic pillars:
  • Business Growth
  • Entrepreneurial Acceleration
  • Public Education + Awareness
JOB OVERVIEW
AgriNovus is seeking a detail-oriented, energetic, and organized individual to help maintain and grow the organization’s operational standard, and to help deliver dynamic and engaging events. The ideal candidate will manage and execute core organizational workflows, oversee logistics for high-impact industry events, maintain organizational data and systems, support financial and administrative processes, and provide comprehensive cross-functional support to our team. Above all, they will bring a strong sense of our organization’s needs and how effective operations support our broader strategy.
The manager of operations reports to and supports the Vice President.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Program Management: Coordinate and support the ongoing operations and execution of key organizational programs, including the agbioscience podcast and Field Atlas initiatives.
  • Operational Processes: Execute and optimize day-to-day operational workflows, internal administrative procedures, organizational systems, office operations, and governance to drive efficiency across programs, including troubleshooting issues and coordinating with CICP and external vendors as needed.
  • Event Management: Assist with end-to-end logistics and execution for AgriNovus events, ranging from startup showcases and stakeholder roundtables to Quadrant programming, as well as internal staff meetings and team development events.
  • Salesforce Documenting & CRM Management: Maintain data integrity, update stakeholder records, track engagement pipelines, organizational KPIs and metrics, and document standard operating procedures within Salesforce.
  • Financial & Contract Administration: Coordinate credit card, invoice, expense, payment collection, and contract administration, including execution and tracking; and support timely monthly administrative submissions.
  • Team & Project Support: Partner closely with leadership and program teams to support strategic initiatives, facilitate seamless cross-functional communication, and assist with hiring, onboarding, offboarding, and team culture activities while handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Ecosystem Collaboration: Serve as a reliable point of contact for internal team members, external partners, and industry stakeholders within the agbioscience community.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of experience in operations management or project management
  • Demonstrated experience managing and documenting data within Salesforce (Certifications are a strong plus).
  • Proven track record of successfully coordinating and managing event logistics from conception to completion.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong time-management skills, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative, team-first attitude.

COMPETITIVE BENEFITS:

  • 100% of healthcare and dental premiums are paid for individuals and family.
  • Pre-tax & Roth 401(k) Retirement Plan with generous match: 5% contributed by the employer regardless of employee contribution and up to an additional 5% employee voluntary contribution eligible to be matched by the employer.
  • Company-paid group life benefits as well as company-paid short-term and long-term disability insurance.
  • Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) including 17 holidays.
  • Office location at 16 Tech Innovation District with hybrid remote flexibility.
