HELIX is developing an AI-powered financial intelligence ecosystem combining AI agents, cognitive market memory, quantitative strategies, and trading analytics.

We’re looking for a freelance technical builder with strong software architecture skills who can design, develop, and deploy scalable financial applications.

What you’ll work on

• LLM-powered applications and multi-agent systems for financial analysis.

• Cognitive memory connecting market context, trading decisions, and historical outcomes.

• Strategy development, backtesting, and performance analytics.

• Trading SaaS platforms, broker APIs, and market-data integrations.

Core technical skills

• Python and TypeScript/JavaScript, with React or Next.js.

• Backend development with FastAPI or Node.js, REST APIs, and WebSockets.

• PostgreSQL/Supabase and familiarity with vector databases.

• LLM integration, RAG, embeddings, and agent orchestration using frameworks such as LangGraph or LlamaIndex.

• Authentication, role-based access control, secure APIs, and multi-tenant architecture.

• Docker, Git, CI/CD, and cloud deployment.

Trading and quantitative experience

• Familiarity with pandas, NumPy, and financial time-series analysis.

• Experience with backtesting tools such as LEAN, vectorbt, or Backtrader.

• Understanding of risk metrics, out-of-sample testing, and strategy validation.

• Experience with MetaTrader 5 or broker APIs is a plus.

We value practical experience building and deploying working products. You do not need to know every tool listed, but you should be comfortable owning technical decisions and delivering independently.

Collaboration

Freelance / independent contractor. You must be based in Ireland; Dublin is preferred, with remote collaboration available within Ireland.

We’re interested in a long-term collaboration, with potential equity participation subject to mutual agreement.
