For over 40 years, LGI has built software that healthcare organizations depend on. AI is now at the heart of that work, not as a destination, but as the engine behind our next generation of mission-critical solutions and our enduring mission: helping healthcare organizations perform at their best.

We're looking for exceptional people who are passionate about technology, relentless in their standards, and driven to push what's possible further.  At LGI, curiosity isn't a nice-to-have, it's how we work. We're looking for talent who explore and innovate by instinct and want their work to matter beyond the codebase, shaping decisions, enhancing processes, and enabling healthcare practitioners.

At LGI Healthcare Solutions, we believe the future of quality assurance lies in combining robust automation with artificial intelligence. We are looking for an experienced software quality professional who wants to help transform our testing practices by leveraging both automation best practices and the emerging capabilities of AI agents. In this strategic role, you will have the opportunity to influence our quality vision, improve the reliability of our Windows and web-based solutions, and contribute to the technological innovation supporting the healthcare network.

Quality and Test Strategy

  • Participate in analyzing requirements, acceptance criteria, and risks in order to prepare and execute appropriate test scenarios;
  • Document results, qualify defects, and collaborate with teams to support their resolution;
  • Maintain reliable test data and evidence and contribute to regression test coverage.

Automation and Quality Engineering

  • Help identify tests that can be automated based on repeatability, value, and risk, with appropriate guidance;
  • Collaborate with engineering to integrate relevant quality controls into pipelines and delivery practices;
  • Analyze execution results and available quality data to help identify improvement opportunities.

Artificial Intelligence Applied to Quality Assurance

  • Use approved AI tools to support scenario design, requirements analysis, test-data generation or analysis, defect investigation, and results synthesis;
  • Critically evaluate AI-generated outputs, exercise appropriate human oversight, and validate their accuracy before use;
  • Comply with confidentiality, security, ethics, and responsible AI use requirements;
  • Help document observed gains in quality, coverage, efficiency, or productivity and share findings with the team.

Collaboration and Practice Improvement

  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and other partners to clarify risks, quality criteria, and delivery conditions;
  • Share lessons learned from testing and incidents to improve processes, tools, and ways of working;
  • Contribute to a culture in which quality is a shared responsibility and decisions are supported by facts and data.

    What You Will Bring to LGI Healthcare Solutions to Succeed in This Role:

    • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience;

    • A minimum of two to four years of experience in quality assurance and test automation;

    • Strong knowledge of automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and REST APIs;

    • Experience designing and executing testing strategies;

    • Hands-on experience using generative artificial intelligence tools in software development;

    • The ability to positively influence team practices;

    • A commitment to professional excellence by keeping your knowledge current, sharing your expertise with team members, and contributing to the continuous improvement of quality assurance practices;

    • An understanding of the business impact of quality assurance activities and the ability to prioritize initiatives based on risk, business value, and their impact on delivery quality, user satisfaction, and team performance;

    • The ability to apply critical judgment when analyzing risks, validating results generated by artificial intelligence, and resolving complex problems;

    • A high degree of autonomy, excellent collaboration skills, and the ability to positively influence your team’s technical decisions;

    • This position requires bilingualism and an excellent command of French, as you will work with documentation that is primarily in French and communicate, both verbally and in writing, with predominantly French-speaking partners, clients, vendors, and colleagues. A good command of English will be considered an asset.

      Why join LGI?

      • A workplace built on trust, autonomy and collaboration
      • The opportunity to grow, perform and work alongside curious and talented colleagues
      • A continuous learning culture with dedicated training time, a renowed skills development platform and access to cutting-edge tools
      • Stimulating projects that advance healthcare technology and support the work of over 320,000 professionals, benefiting more than 6 million patients
      • A comprehensive benefits package including group insurance from day one, a group RRSP with employer contributions, 24/7 telemedicine, an employee and family assistance program, and a minimum of 3 weeks vacation per year
