Role Description The AI Automation Consultant is a remote, contract role responsible for assessing client processes and designing automation solutions that use AI tools and related technologies. Day-to-day activities include conducting discovery sessions with clients, mapping workflows, and identifying opportunities for efficiency and cost reduction through automation. The consultant will configure and integrate AI platforms, test and optimize solutions, and document implementation plans and best practices. This role involves collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business requirements into clear automation specifications, and providing guidance, training, and support to end users. The consultant will also monitor performance metrics, recommend improvements, and stay current with emerging AI automation trends and tools.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in process analysis, workflow mapping, and business requirements gathering for automation initiatives.
• Experience designing and implementing AI-driven or rule-based automation solutions using common tools and platforms.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance for non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in documenting solutions, creating implementation plans, and preparing user guides or training materials.
• Comfort working remotely, managing multiple client projects, and meeting deadlines in a contract-based environment.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes.
• Familiarity with data privacy, security considerations, and ethical principles related to AI and automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business) or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior consulting or client-facing experience and exposure to digital transformation or automation projects is beneficial.
