We are looking for an AI & Automation Engineer – Network Infrastructure to help transform enterprise networking into a more automated, intelligent and reliable environment.

You will join a global organisation with a strong culture of innovation and an ambition to use technology to create smarter, more sustainable and more connected ways of working. Within Global Information Services, you will work at the intersection of network engineering, security, software engineering and AI.

The focus is practical: automate repetitive network operations, create intelligent self-service, use AI and AIOps to identify issues earlier and safely automate known fixes.

You will work extensively with enterprise networking and security platforms, building reusable automation and closed-loop workflows across campus, data center, WAN, wireless and network security environments.

The long-term ambition is to move towards a Network Reliability Engineering model where routine work is automated, changes are controlled by policy and engineers can focus on complex problems and continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

We are looking for someone with:

  • 10+ years of enterprise network engineering experience, preferably from large or global environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Aruba and Palo Alto technologies.
  • Solid knowledge of enterprise networking, including routing, switching, wireless, WAN, DNS and DHCP.
  • Experience with Aruba CX, Aruba Central, Aruba Wireless and ClearPass.
  • Experience with Palo Alto NGFW, Panorama and related security technologies.
  • Strong experience with network automation, APIs and Infrastructure-as-Code.
  • Programming and scripting experience in Python and/or PowerShell.
  • Experience with Ansible, Terraform, REST APIs, JSON, YAML and Git.
  • Practical experience with Generative AI, Copilot, AI agents, RAG or AIOps.
  • Understanding of NRE/SRE principles, SLOs, observability and automated remediation.
  • Experience integrating network platforms with ServiceNow, CMDB, monitoring and security platforms.
  • Good understanding of Zero Trust, NAC, segmentation, SASE/SSE and network security.
  • Experience taking automation solutions from POC to production.
  • Relevant technical degree or equivalent practical experience.

You are a network engineer with an engineering mindset. You enjoy going beyond traditional network operations and are excited by the opportunity to combine networking expertise with software, automation and AI. You are pragmatic, curious and focused on building solutions that are reliable enough to run in production.
