AI Automation Instructor

Role Description The AI Automation Instructor will design and deliver engaging, practice-focused lessons on AI tools, automation workflows, and related digital skills to learners at various levels. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and learning resources, conducting live hybrid sessions in Lagos and online, recording instructional content, and providing timely feedback on assignments and projects. The instructor will collaborate with the CAMANDA Academy team to align course content with industry trends, update materials in the AI-powered LMS, and support learners through community channels and career guidance activities. This is a part-time hybrid role based in Lagos, with a mix of on-site teaching and remote work for preparation, content creation, and learner support.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of AI tools and automation platforms (e.g., no-code automation tools, AI assistants, workflow builders) and the ability to translate complex concepts into practical, beginner-friendly lessons.
• Experience designing and delivering digital or tech-focused courses, including preparing structured curricula, lesson plans, and project-based learning activities.
• Proficiency with online teaching tools, learning management systems, and virtual collaboration platforms; comfortable managing live and pre-recorded sessions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and instructional skills, with a focus on clarity, learner engagement, and constructive feedback.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and support learners in building portfolios, applying skills to real-world projects, and exploring career pathways.
• Prior teaching, training, or facilitation experience in AI, automation, digital skills, or related fields is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• Comfort working in a hybrid setting in Lagos, managing time effectively for both on-site and remote responsibilities.
