About Outsentia

Outsentia is a global talent and operations partner helping companies build high-performing offshore teams in regions like Pakistan. From sales and customer success to engineering and research support, we help our clients find top talent and scale quickly, without compromising quality. Our mission is to bridge exceptional global talent with fast-growing companies that need flexible, reliable, and cost-effective support.

We're now building an AI automation practice: a small team that works directly with our US clients to find their most manual, time-consuming workflows and automate them.

Role Details

  • Reports to: Outsentia's Tech Lead, working closely with Outsentia leadership
  • Location: Hybrid, Outsentia office in Islamabad, at least 3 days a week
  • Hours: Full-time, 6:00 pm to 3:00 am Pakistan time, overlapping with US client business hours
  • Employment: Full-time with Outsentia

About the Role

You'll be the hands-on builder in client automation projects. You'll sit with client teams, learn how their work actually gets done, and turn that into reliable automations they can trust.

Your first engagement is with a US home health and private duty nursing provider. The work includes:

  • Automating on-call shift coverage: when a nurse calls out, finding eligible staff, reaching out, and confirming a replacement, with people stepping in on anything urgent.
  • Digitizing employee records: splitting, naming and filing scanned HR documents into SharePoint for state survey readiness.

After the initial engagement, you may move into a longer-term role dedicated to that client, still employed by Outsentia, or move on to the next client project.

What You'll Do

  • Shadow client teams, record and map their current workflows, and identify what can be automated.
  • Turn findings into clear build documents: what gets automated, what stays with people, and how success is measured.
  • Build automations and integrations using tools like Python, REST APIs, Microsoft Power Automate, SharePoint and Microsoft Graph.
  • Build document processing pipelines: PDF splitting, barcode and QR code recognition, OCR and data extraction.
  • Integrate messaging and voice tools (SMS, phone, AI voice agents) with client systems.
  • Configure features in clients' existing software, such as scheduling and HR platforms, before building anything custom.
  • Design human backup into every workflow, so nothing critical depends on automation alone.
  • Test thoroughly, run new automations alongside existing processes, and fix issues before cutover.
  • Document every automation and train client staff to use and maintain it.
  • Present progress in weekly client demos and check-ins.
  • Handle sensitive data with care: follow HIPAA requirements, least-privilege access, and Outsentia's security policies.

Who We're Looking For

  • 2 to 4 years building automations, integrations or internal tools.
  • Strong Python and experience working with REST APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and the Power Platform (Power Automate, SharePoint, Graph API).
  • Practical experience using large language model APIs in real workflows, not just experiments.
  • Excellent spoken and written English. You'll work directly with US clients, explain technical ideas in plain language, and run your own client calls.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity: you can walk into an unfamiliar business, ask the right questions, and figure out what to build.
  • Detail-oriented and reliable, with a strong sense of ownership.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in US healthcare, home care or healthcare staffing.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA and handling protected health information.
  • Experience with Azure AI Document Intelligence or other document AI tools.
  • Experience with Twilio or similar messaging and voice platforms.
  • Experience with Copilot Studio or other agent-building tools.
  • Exposure to healthcare scheduling or HR platforms such as AlayaCare.

What Success Looks Like in the First 90 Days

  • You've mapped your first client's key workflows and helped produce an approved build document.
  • You've shipped a working document processing pipeline that files records correctly, with a review step.
  • You've delivered a first automated scheduling workflow running alongside the client's current process.
  • The client trusts you to run weekly demos and handle day-to-day questions on your own.
