About the Opportunity

GemTek Recruiting is seeking an experienced AI Technical Lead for an exciting consulting opportunity supporting enterprise AI innovation and software engineering modernization.

This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader who can turn emerging AI technologies into practical, secure, and scalable enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, prototype and integrate Generative AI, large language models (LLMs) and AI agents into enterprise applications.

• Develop AI solutions using Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365, Power Platform and REST APIs.

• Apply AI to software development, automated testing, DevOps and deployment processes.

• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and establish reusable technical solutions.

• Collaborate with Agile/Scrum teams and provide technical guidance on AI adoption, security and architecture.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise software development, solution architecture or technical leadership experience.

• 2+ years of hands-on AI or Generative AI development and integration experience.

• 3+ years working with Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365, Power Platform or related Microsoft technologies.

• Strong experience with REST APIs, cloud integration, CI/CD and DevOps.

• Experience with LLMs, AI agents, GitHub Copilot or comparable AI development technologies.

• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives within Agile/Scrum environments.

• Relevant technical education and certifications are assets.

Mandatory Requirements

• Must reside in Canada and be legally authorized to work in Canada.

• Must be eligible to obtain Canadian Reliability Status security clearance, requiring a minimum of five years of verifiable personal history.

• Strong professional English communication skills.
