AI Enablement Lead / Epic Owner

We are seeking an experienced AI Enablement Lead/Epic Owner to drive the successful delivery and adoption of AI and Machine Learning initiatives across the business. In this role, you will act as the key link between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, translating business opportunities into well-defined epics, features, and measurable outcomes while ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Own AI/ML initiatives from discovery through delivery, adoption, and value realisation.

• Translate business requirements into clearly defined epics, features, and prioritised backlog items.

• Prioritise initiatives based on business value, feasibility, dependencies, strategic alignment, and delivery capacity.

• Act as the primary stakeholder interface, ensuring alignment on objectives, scope, priorities, and expected outcomes.

• Collaborate closely with technical leads, data scientists, and ML engineers to define practical and scalable AI solutions.

• Monitor delivery progress, manage risks and dependencies, and communicate trade-offs to stakeholders.

• Drive adoption and track measurable business impact, ensuring initiatives deliver tangible value beyond technical implementation.

Required Experience

• Significant experience in product ownership, backlog management, prioritisation, and delivery coordination.

• Proven track record of leading AI, Machine Learning, or Generative AI initiatives.

• Experience translating complex business requirements into actionable product roadmaps, epics, and features.

• Strong understanding of the AI/ML lifecycle, including experimentation, productionisation, deployment, and adoption.

• Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.

• Exposure to enterprise AI and data platforms such as Databricks.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within data platform, analytics, or data product environments.

• Knowledge of modern AI ecosystems, cloud-based data platforms, and enterprise-scale AI adoption programmes.
