I'm hiring an AI Engagement Lead to own client outcomes end-to-end, turning executive ambitions and messy operating problems into working AI systems, measurable adoption, and real business impact.

You will lead a portfolio of client accounts, working directly with senior stakeholders and a small embedded team of one or two Forward Deployed Engineers. You are accountable from discovery and scoping through delivery, adoption, renewal, and growth.

What you will own

• Client outcomes, delivery plans, and clear evidence of progress tied to adoption and impact
• Trusted relationships with sponsors and the people doing the work
• Context, priorities, and fast decisions for your technical team (without micromanaging the craft)
• Account strategy, business cases, renewals, and paid expansion with healthy economics
• AI-native ways of working, in your own practice and with clients
• Turning field learning into reusable playbooks and IP

You'll be a fit if

• You have owned complex client work from start to finish (consulting, professional services, product delivery, change, or forward-deployed environments)
• You have led small senior technical teams through ambiguous work and can show the impact of your decisions
• You can move comfortably between technical deep-dives and board-level conversations
• You use AI tools deeply in your own work and can demonstrate real workflows, not just prompting for drafts
• You take ownership when the path is unclear and build trust through clear, direct communication

Work model & compensation

Primarily remote / working from home, with offices in Porto and Lisbon available. Occasional client travel. Full-time employment or B2B contractor arrangements possible.

Total package up to €80,000 (salary + benefits), plus profit sharing.
