In this role, you will help strengthen and scale our AI initiatives by building AI-driven services and supporting teams across the organization in developing AI-powered features and solutions. ABOUT THE ROLE 📌 As an AI Engineer, you play a key role in strengthening and scaling Stratsys’ AI capabilities. The role combines software engineering with practical AI development, focusing on building systems and services around modern AI technologies rather than developing models from scratch. You will be part of a small AI-focused team working closely together across several ongoing initiatives. Collaboration, experimentation, and shared ownership are central parts of how the team works, with a strong focus on continuously evolving AI capabilities across the organization. The role includes both hands-on development and a more exploratory way of working where you test and evaluate new AI-related approaches, explore what works in practice and collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify relevant use cases and solutions. You will also support other development teams within the organization as a technical sounding board around AI features and AI-related initiatives. This can include discussions around implementation approaches, technical feasibility, and how AI capabilities can be integrated in a sustainable and scalable way. Key parts of the role include: Developing and maintaining AI-driven services and solutions, primarily in Python Building systems and functionality around AI models Collaborating closely with other development teams around AI-related initiatives and features Acting as a technical advisor and sounding board around AI solutions and implementations Exploring and evaluating new technologies, methods, use cases and contributing to scaling Stratsys AI initiatives Collaborating with stakeholders across the business to identify opportunities where AI can create value THE TEAM 👥 You will be part of a small and growing AI-focused team working closely together across several ongoing initiatives. Since the team operates in an area where both technology and ways of working evolve rapidly, collaboration, curiosity, and knowledge sharing are key parts of the culture. The team works closely with both the business and other development teams across the organization, supporting AI-related initiatives and helping translate ideas into practical solutions. YOUR BACKGROUND ✔️ Experience with Python development Practical experience working with AI-related solutions or AI-driven development Experience within software or system development Bachelor’s or master’s degree within computer science, engineering, systems science, or a related technical field Fluent in Swedish and English, written and spoken Bonus qualifications Experience with LangChain or similar AI frameworks Experience with AI assistants, agent-based systems, or AI integrations Experience with architecture and system design Experience working in SaaS or product companies Experience collaborating closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders ABOUT YOU 👀 To thrive in this role, we believe you are a self-driven and pragmatic person who enjoys working in an environment where not everything is fully defined from the start.
