Full-Stack AI Engineer @ MARV

We're building MARV — a multi-agent Legal AI platform and portable trust infrastructure for the agentic economy. Our mission: Think Free®. Across jurisdictions, across languages, across the messy reality of how legal and financial agreements actually get made.

We're looking for our an AI engineer in Sweden — someone who can own the full stack, not just the model layer.

We're not stitching together someone else's API and calling it a product. We're building our own AI ecosystem — proprietary infrastructure, our own models and orchestration layer, owned end-to-end rather than rented from a third party. Genuine interest in building proprietary AI infrastructure rather than only integrating third-party model APIs — you want to own the stack, not rent it" — plus a nod to open-source/self-hosted model deployment experience as a plus, which signals you want people who can work below the API layer.

What you'll do:

• Design and ship RAG pipelines over legal and financial documents — embeddings, retrieval, chunking strategies that actually hold up under scrutiny
• Orchestrate LLM workflows and agentic pipelines that power MARV's core product experience
• Own backend infrastructure end-to-end: APIs, vector databases, cloud deployment, scaling
• Build evaluation and guardrail systems to keep hallucination and error rates low in a domain where mistakes matter
• Work directly with our founding team to shape product, architecture, and roadmap — not just execute someone else's spec

What we're looking for:

• 5 to 8+ years of production software engineering experience, with hands-on work shipping LLM-powered features (not just side projects)
• Real experience with RAG: vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector, etc.), embeddings, and retrieval tuning
• Strong backend fundamentals — Python and/or TypeScript, API design, cloud infra (AWS/GCP/Azure), containerization
• Comfort with agentic frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, or your own orchestration) is a strong plus
• A bias toward shipping — you'd rather ship a working v1 and iterate than perfect something in isolation
• Bonus: experience in a regulated industry (legal, fintech, healthcare) where privacy, auditability, and compliance are part of the job, not an afterthought
