Data Idols are recruiting an AI Engineering Technical Lead to build and scale innovative AI solutions that solve real business problems while shaping the future direction of enterprise AI.

This is an opportunity to lead from the front, combining hands-on engineering with technical strategy to deliver modern AI capabilities that create measurable business value. You’ll work at the forefront of AI innovation, taking ideas from proof of concept through to production while helping define the future of a growing AI platform.

As an AI Engineering Technical Lead, you’ll lead a high-performing engineering squad, designing and delivering scalable AI solutions using Databricks and Azure. You’ll set the technical direction for your team, helping establish best practices while ensuring solutions are secure, governed and built for enterprise scale.

Working closely with Product, Engineering and business stakeholders, you’ll identify high-value opportunities for AI, rapidly prototype new ideas and evolve successful solutions into production-ready products. Alongside hands-on technical delivery, you’ll mentor engineers, champion innovation and help shape the long-term AI strategy across the organisation.
