Who We Are

At Storm Ideas, we supercharge the digital presence of some of the biggest names in US TV and entertainment. Since 2008, our international team has delivered bold, forward-thinking solutions for globally recognised clients.

Whether we're building innovative products, producing high-impact social content, or designing smarter ways for our partners to work, we're right at the cutting edge of creativity, technology, and automation.

AI-First Ways of Working

Storm is an AI-native agency. You’ll delegate meaningful work to agents, provide clear context, review results critically and improve your methods. Your judgement guides the work: understanding the problem, choosing the right approach and checking that it delivers.

What You’ll Make Happen

Behind our clients’ creative work are planning processes, approvals, asset handoffs and reporting needs that depend on reliable systems.

As an AI-First Creative Operations Officer, you’ll turn messy processes into dependable workflows combining people, agents and practical tools. You’ll own defined improvements from discovery through building, testing, adoption and support, reducing manual effort and avoidable errors.

You don’t need a social media background. You do need to learn quickly, ask good questions and understand how work happens. Your toolkit will include Airtable, AI agents and lightweight automation.

What can you expect?

  • Manage your briefs, priorities and follow-ups independently.
  • Deliver on time, communicate clearly and escalate blockers early.
  • Map processes, identify bottlenecks and turn ambiguous briefs into practical next steps. Agree the intended improvement and how you’ll measure it.
  • Direct AI agents to structure requests, investigate problems, clean data, prepare documentation and check plans. Provide clear context and verify results against source information.
  • Improve approval workflows so teams know what is planned, awaiting review or approved, and who owns the next action.
  • Define fields, statuses, handoffs and review points. Choose where agents, rule-based automation and human judgement fit best.
  • Build Airtable bases, views, interfaces and automations. Use AI-assisted tools to prototype solutions and test them with realistic data, user scenarios and exceptions.
  • Connect and improve spreadsheets, project tools, documentation and Slack or Teams workflows, keeping solutions proportionate to the problem.
  • Document processes and turn proven methods into reusable skills: instructions, examples and context that agents and colleagues can follow. Keep rules and exceptions current.
  • Check data, logic, permissions and user experience before handoff. Build in clear review points and respect client confidentiality and agreed limits on AI use.
  • Work directly with clients to understand their requirements and translate their needs into systems and workflows. Present solutions in clear, non-technical language, demonstrate how they work and help clients adopt them confidently.
  • Work with creative, social, client service, analytics, AI Operations and technical colleagues. Involve specialists when integrations, access or complexity need their expertise.
  • Support adoption, gather feedback, investigate failures and maintain workflows after launch. Track handling time, errors, rework or usage to demonstrate improvement.

What success looks like

Teams know what happens next. Work takes less effort without losing accuracy, exceptions reach the right person, and colleagues and clients can confidently use and maintain the workflows you deliver.

YOUR EXPERTISE

Qualifications

What's important to us:

  • Experience improving workflows or systems, with evidence of what changed and how it helped.
  • Structured thinking: you can break a messy problem into users, inputs, outputs, handoffs, risks and decisions.
  • Hands-on use of AI tools and agents in work, studies or personal projects. Show what you delegated, the context supplied and what you checked, changed or rejected.
  • Ownership and resourcefulness: you investigate blockers, communicate progress and escalate with evidence and a clear ask.
  • Clear writing and documentation that help others understand and use your work.
  • Confidence with spreadsheets, structured data, project tools and documentation systems.
  • Strong no/low-code aptitude: you can build a workflow, understand its logic and test it. Airtable or comparable systems experience is highly useful.
  • Attention to detail and sound judgement: you verify AI output, recognise uncertainty and know when further review is needed.
  • Confidence understanding client requirements, explaining solutions and trade-offs, and helping non-technical users adopt new ways of working.
  • Curiosity and a habit of sharing effective methods. You can show a repeatable workflow or instruction set someone else could use.

What's nice to have:

  • Experience with creative, content, campaign, approval or asset workflows.
  • Experience building Airtable interfaces and automations or similar workflow solutions.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Monday.com, Asana, Zapier, Make or n8n, and agents such as Codex or Claude Code. Equivalent tools are welcome.
  • Basic scripting, HTML or API knowledge, including AI-assisted building and testing.
  • Experience helping teams adopt new processes without unnecessary complexity.

Recruitment process

Application

Include your CV and a short cover letter with clear examples of how you work.

In your cover letter, please briefly cover:

  • a messy workflow or system you improved, what changed and how you knew it helped;
  • what you have built or improved in Airtable or similar tools;
  • a repeatable AI workflow: what you delegated, checked and changed, and how someone else could use it.

Examples from work, studies or personal projects are welcome. Include links or screenshots you can share.

Recruitment Process

First, we will review your CV and cover letter for the requested examples.

If successful, you’ll complete a short, time-boxed task using a provided Airtable base. Build a working example, explain your decisions and show how you used AI. Include a reusable instruction or workflow, test an exception and explain how someone else would use it. Your method matters as much as the output.

If successful, you’ll be invited to a 60-minute interview with Creative Operations management. Present your solution as you would to a client, followed by questions about your approach.

And that's it!

Not sure you tick every box? Apply anyway. Your judgement, systems thinking and practical AI capability matter most.
