In collaboration with one of our partners, who are the leading software providers for digital work instructions, checklists, and protocols, we are creating a platform where companies lay the foundation for digitized production and reduce the effort for their process documentation.

Industrial companies from all industries benefit from the targeted digitization, as it is now much easier for them to provide all relevant information to their employees at the right time and in the right place.

Tasks

We are looking for a AI Fullstack Engineer (m|f|d) to join the local team in Cluj-Napoca.

You'll play a key role in developing across the entire tech stack and building sustainable, customer-focused solutions.

You will become a key member of a cross-functional product team, deeply involved in shaping our software. Your role spans from technical design and implementation to actively participating in product discovery, ensuring that our solutions are robust, maintainable, and aligned with user needs.

As part of your daily business, you will:
⏩ Develop features across our stack based on Angular, Node.js, and deployed on Microsoft Azure
⏩ Collaborate closely with product management, design, and engineering teams to find the best technical solutions for customer challenges
⏩ Ensure the long-term sustainability and maintainability of our codebase through thoughtful development practices, architecture decisions, and code reviews
⏩ Work confidently with AI coding agents (e.g. for scaffolding, refactoring, test generation, and code review) as a natural part of your daily workflow, while critically evaluating and owning the quality of the output
⏩ Help shape how our team adopts and integrates agentic development tooling into our engineering practices and CI/CD pipeline
⏩ Actively participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentoring junior team members

Requirements

You shall bring:

✅ At least 5 years of professional software development experience, ideally in a product-focused company
✅ Solid understanding of core computer science fundamentals and systems thinking, with a track record of making sound technical and architectural decisions
✅ Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular and/or NodeJS preferred), and the ability to quickly ramp up on new technologies and tools
✅ Hands-on experience using AI coding agents in a professional setting, together with a clear sense of when and how to rely on them, and when not to
✅ Proven ability to work closely with product teams to shape and deliver impactful customer experiences
✅ Ability and willingness to join the team on occasion in the JUSTROCKET community house in Cluj
✅ Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken

Nice to have qualifications:

⏩ Experience with Azure OpenAI Services, LangGraph, and pgvector/RAG architectures

⏩ Background in industrial or manufacturing software (MES, ERP integrations)

⏩ Experience writing architectural decision records or cost/build-vs-buy analyses
