One of Pine’s portfolio companies, Raiz, is at the forefront of a shift in how companies manage their finances. As one of the earliest partners of Rillet — the leading AI-native ERP — they’re helping finance teams move faster, close cleaner, and operate with a level of clarity that legacy systems simply can’t offer. They’re not just implementing software; they’re building a new model to be a true AI partner to their clients.
They’re looking for an AI-Native ERP Consultant with real accounting depth to join their consulting team — someone who can earn trust with CFOs and Controllers, run Rillet implementations end-to-end, and help shape the Raiz client experience. If you value relationships, care about doing right by the people you work with, and want to grow as part of a small team building something genuinely new, Raiz wants to hear from you.
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Grand Rapids, MI or Chicago, IL, with occasional travel to partner hubs.
What You'll Do
- Support and lead Rillet implementations from kickoff to go-live, helping CFOs and Controllers modernize their finance operations with AI.
- Configure solutions that translate complex accounting workflows into simple, scalable systems.
- Help build the playbook — contribute to best practices and delivery documentation as the consulting approach continues to evolve.
- Assist with client scoping and sales handoffs as you develop your understanding of the full engagement lifecycle.
- Deliver excellence: projects on time, happy clients, and systems that work the first time.
- Keep learning — continuously pick up new tools, automations, and workflows that push what’s possible in modern finance.
What They're Looking For
Required
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in accounting or finance — ideally public audit or assurance, or industry GL, revenue, or consolidations.
- Strong command of US GAAP and the period-end close process.
- ERP familiarity — exposure to systems like NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or QuickBooks, with genuine curiosity about next-gen platforms like Rillet.
- Ability to translate accounting requirements into system configurations and automated workflows.
- Strong communication skills and a client-ready presence — able to engage credibly with Controllers and CFOs.
- Collaborative, self-directed style; comfortable with autonomy and takes pride in quality.
- Prior client-facing, consulting, or ERP implementation experience.
- Familiarity with ASC 606 and SaaS revenue recognition.
- FP&A exposure.
- CPA preferred (active or inactive) — strong accounting credentials help build trust with finance leaders, but not required.
