AI native Head of Accounting & Reporting

Heim Datacenter is building a Nordic data center platform designed for hyperscale, AI, high-performance computing and cloud workloads. We combine Nordic infrastructure strengths with customer-focused execution to build and operate scalable, future-ready data centers defined by long-term performance, operational excellence and trusted partnerships. Our first campus, in Finland, is contracted to a hyperscale customer, with hundreds of megawatts in the pipeline behind it. Heim is headquartered in Stockholm, with colleagues in Norway, the UK and Ireland.

Role Description

The AI Native Head of Accounting & Reporting is a full-time, hybrid role based in Stockholm (preferred) or Oslo, reporting to the CFO. We are a small finance team about to run a large balance sheet, and this person will build our accounting and reporting function from the ground up, with AI agents in every workflow from the start. You will own accounting, reporting, tax compliance and controls for the Heim group: a Swedish parent company, a Norwegian branch and Finnish project companies, with UK and Irish operations to follow. You will work closely with our Project Finance Controller, an outsourced accounting partner, advisers, auditors, banks and investors. In your first 12 months, you will deliver a group close and consolidation within 5 working days, monthly investor and lender reporting (including drawdown requests and covenant compliance), a 13-week cash forecast, VAT across Sweden, Finland and Norway, transfer pricing for intercompany fees, an AI-ready ERP integrated with banks and payroll, and a quarterly finance pack for the board. At Heim, AI is how finance work gets done: agents handle reconciliations, intercompany matching, lender packs and invoice intake, while people own judgement and sign-off. You will grow capacity through agents and automation first, and hire when the work proves it is needed.

Qualifications

• A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or Nordic authorised auditor), ideally with a Big 4 audit background
• 7+ years of experience, including 3+ years owning close and reporting for a multi-entity group
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and Nordic GAAP
• Experience from infrastructure, energy, real estate or project finance
• Experience directing an outsourced accounting provider
• At least one finance process you have rebuilt end to end with AI, with measurable results
• Strong data skills: advanced Excel, plus some Power Query, SQL or Python
• Fluent English; Swedish or Norwegian is a plus
