Your role at Clorox:

A hands-on engineering role responsible for building, automating, securing and operating the cloud platform capabilities used to deliver enterprise Generative AI solutions. The engineer will develop reusable Infrastructure as Code modules, CI/CD and GitOps pipelines, secure runtime patterns, AI service integrations, observability, evaluation controls and self-service capabilities.
The role focuses on moving AI solutions from proof of concept into reliable production services. It combines cloud platform engineering, DevSecOps, Site Reliability Engineering and LLMOps practices. The engineer will work closely with AI engineers, application teams, data engineers, Security, Privacy, Risk and Enterprise Architecture.

In this role, you'll be responsible for creating the foundations that enable AI solutions to move from proof of concept into enterprise-scale production.


Your work will help:


  • Accelerate delivery of AI solutions across the business
  • Enable secure and responsible AI adoption
  • Reduce deployment complexity through automation and reusable platform services
  • Improve reliability, observability and governance of production AI applications
  • Optimise cloud and AI consumption costs
  • Establish engineering standards for the next generation of enterprise AI capabilities

You'll design, automate and operate cloud-native platforms supporting:


  • Large Language Models (LLMs)
  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions
  • AI Agents and Agentic AI workflows
  • Enterprise AI APIs and services
  • Vector search and retrieval platforms
  • AI observability and monitoring capabilities
  • Secure AI deployment and governance frameworks

Working alongside AI Engineers, Application Teams, Security, Privacy and Architecture partners, you'll help create reusable capabilities that can be leveraged across multiple AI initiatives.

  • AI Evaluation & Observability

What Success Looks Like

You'll help establish repeatable AI platform capabilities that:

  • Provision AI environments quickly and consistently
  • Automate security, compliance and evaluation controls
  • Provide full traceability for models, prompts and agent workflows
  • Deliver observable, resilient and supportable production services
  • Enable responsible scaling of AI across the enterprise

Your impact will be measured not only by what you build, but by how effectively you enable teams across the business to deliver AI solutions faster and more safely.

What we look for:

The successful candidate will have deep hands-on experience in at least one major public cloud, preferably Microsoft Azure, together with strong Terraform, Python, CI/CD, container and Kubernetes capability. Practical experience deploying LLM, RAG or agent-based solutions into production is essential. Experience with additional cloud providers and AI platforms is desirable, but expert-level knowledge of every provider is not expected.

  • Experience operating production cloud environments
  • Practical experience deploying AI, LLM, RAG or agent-based solutions
  • A passion for automation, reliability and continuous improvement
  • The ability to solve complex engineering challenges and influence technical direction
