About us

Theme Framer Studio is an AI website builder. Users describe a website, and AI agents build it with a code editor, terminal and live preview in the browser. We are growing the platform and need an engineer to help build its core.

What you will do

• Build and improve AI agents that generate, edit and debug websites from prompts
• Design and manage the backend architecture of the Studio platform
• Build reliable systems for project storage, database connections, publishing and deployment
• Improve speed, stability and cost of AI requests
• Work with the team to ship new features quickly

What we are looking for

• 3-4 years of experience building backend or full-stack products
• Experience with LLM APIs, prompt design and AI agent workflows (tool calling, multi-step tasks)
• Hands-on experience with AI agent architecture: agent loops, tool calling, context management, context compression, RAG and prompt orchestration.
• Good understanding of APIs, databases, queues and cloud deployment
• Clear thinking about system design, scale and security
• A portfolio or GitHub or live project that shows your work

Nice to have

• Experience with tools like Bolt, v0, Lovable or Cursor, and an understanding of how they work
• Experience with in-browser development environments or sandboxed code execution
• Experience with an AI product from idea to launch
