Product Offering: Covering five proven product areas - learning, fleet operations, compliance, voyage planning and performance management - supporting its customers from ship to shore, from training and people operations, to voyage compliance and optimisation. 🧭 Navigating the position: AI Product Manager As an AI Product Manager at OneOcean, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our AI-powered solutions across our existing product portfolio, spanning Human Capital Management (HCM), Technical Ship & Crew Management (TSCM) and Voyage Compliance & Performance Management. You will be responsible for identifying where artificial intelligence and machine learning can add the greatest value to our customers and working cross-functionally to bring them to market. From predictive maintenance insights and intelligent crew management to voyage optimisation and automated compliance monitoring, you will help ensure OneOcean remains at the forefront of maritime digital innovation. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the company – including engineering, data science, design, commercial and domain experts – to define and prioritise product initiatives, ensuring that we deliver innovative, customer-centric solutions that drive both customer satisfaction and financial results. Key Responsibilities Contribute to the AI product roadmap across HCM, TSCM & VCPM product lines, and own the delivery prioritised AI features and capabilities within. Identify and evaluate opportunities to embed AI and machine learning capabilities into existing OneOcean solutions, prioritising initiatives based on customer impact, technical feasibility and commercial value Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to translate complex AI/ML concepts into clear product requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria Engage directly with customers, end users and internal maritime domain experts to deeply understand workflows, pain points and opportunities where AI can drive measurable improvements Champion a data-driven approach to product development, defining key metrics and success criteria for AI features and continuously measuring outcomes against them Work with UX and design teams to ensure AI-powered features are intuitive, transparent and trusted by maritime professionals both on board and ashore Stay abreast of emerging trends in AI, large language models, predictive analytics and maritime technology, bringing outside-in thinking to the OneOcean product strategy Partner with commercial and go-to-market teams to articulate the value proposition of AI features, supporting pricing, positioning and customer communication Manage the AI product lifecycle from ideation and discovery through to delivery, launch and continuous improvement Ensure responsible and ethical AI practices are embedded in all product development, including data governance, model transparency, bias mitigation and regulatory compliance Contribute to cross-functional planning processes including quarterly roadmap reviews, sprint planning and stakeholder alignment sessions Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Proven experience as a Product Manager with a strong track record of delivering AI/ML-powered products or features in a B2B SaaS or enterprise software environment Solid understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning, natural language processing, predictive analytics and large language models Ability to bridge the gap between technical data science teams and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex AI concepts into clear business language Strong product discovery and user research skills, with experience conducting customer interviews, synthesising insights and validating hypotheses Data-driven mindset with experience defining product KPIs, running experiments and making evidence-based prioritisation decisions Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams Experience working within agile product development methodologies Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a willingness to operate across multiple product domains Desirable Experience working in the maritime, shipping, logistics or related regulated industry Familiarity with maritime operations including crew management, planned maintenance systems, voyage planning or regulatory compliance workflows Hands-on experience with AI/ML tooling and platforms (e.g. Python, TensorFlow, cloud ML services such as AWS SageMaker or Azure ML) Experience with responsible AI frameworks, model governance and AI ethics in a commercial product context Track record of launching AI features that have driven measurable customer and business outcomes
