The AI Product Owner acts as the bridge between the business stakeholders and the AI engineering teams in the development and deployment of AI solutions. This role translates business requirements to use cases and requirements for assigned AI products and defines future roadmaps. This role works with the business stakeholders defining success metrics, tracking adoption and user feedback ensuring that AI solutions deliver measurable value.
- Own and manage the roadmap for assigned AI products and use cases, building and maintaining a clear, value-driven product backlog.
- Translate business needs into AI/ML use cases, functional requirements, and user stories. Continuously gather user feedback and translate it into product enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to estimate effort, assess dependencies, and ensure items are ready for development.
- Ensure technical teams have continuous clarity on requirements, expected outcomes, and business priorities.
- Act as Product Owner within agile delivery teams of the solutions incl backlog ownership, sprint planning, prioritization.
- Identify risks related to model performance, bias, and data quality
- Define release and acceptance criteria that reflect user needs, data requirements, model behavior, and system constraints. Define success metrics (e.g., business KPIs, model performance, adoption rates)
- Partner with business units to drive adoption of AI products including implementation and change management plans.
- Support training, communication, and change management initiatives
- Monitor and report on product performance and business impact. Drive continuous improvement based on data, insights, and feedback
- Ensure compliance of assigned AI products with data governance, ethics, and AI governance standards

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience as a Technical Product Owner.
5+ years of experience in quality assurance, development, and/or business system administration.
Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, and/or related project execution tools.
Hands-on experience leading PoCs and pilots, and assessing data quality, model suitability, and integration complexity.
Familiarity with enterprise standards for architecture, data privacy, and security.
SCRUM Master certification.
Ability to travel international and domestically up to 10%.
