About the role

AI creates value when people change how they work. As AI Program Specialist, you help turn AI and automation initiatives into lasting ways of working and demonstrate their impact.

You will join the AI for Automation team at Abacus Medicine and work closely with AI engineers, analysts, governance specialists and business owners. You will lead smaller initiatives independently and take on larger initiatives with your manager, growing your ownership over time. A key part of your role is enabling business teams to own and build their own AI solutions.

Your main responsibilities include

Drive AI adoption and delivery

  • Identify AI and automation opportunities with business owners, analyze existing processes and define success measures.

  • Coordinate stakeholders, user feedback, testing and rollout with the engineering team.

  • Support communication, onboarding and training to embed solutions in daily work.

Manage the AI initiative portfolio

  • Track initiative status, priorities, dependencies and capacity, and refine prioritized business demand.

  • Consolidate expected and realized value, including time savings, cost, quality and risk.

  • Prepare portfolio reviews and decisions with business leaders and management.

Enable self-service AI

  • Help business users identify suitable use cases and build solutions with agent builders and low-code AI tools.

  • Develop reusable guidance, templates and good practices.

  • Bring technical needs to engineering and collaborate with process teams on standards and documentation.

Fuel for your success in the role

  • 3-5 years of experience in project or program management, process improvement, business analysis or consulting.

  • Experience driving change and adoption of digital or AI solutions with business users.

  • Structured, KPI-oriented approach and strong stakeholder management and communication skills in English.

  • Business-level understanding of AI and automation. No coding required.

  • A plus: Lean or process modelling experience and hands-on experience with low-code tools.

What We Offer
  • A modern office at the EUREF Campus with a wide range of restaurants and cafés, conveniently located next to Schöneberg S-Bahn station

  • Flexible working hours

  • Annual performance bonus based on company results

  • 30 days of annual leave plus an extra day off on New Year's Eve

  • Free Germany Ticket for public transport and subsidized meals on campus, including a daily lunch allowance from Abacus

  • Access to Wellhub with a monthly contribution towards gyms and fitness classes, plus the OpenUp mental health platform

  • Complimentary private supplementary health insurance

  • Free coffee and fresh fruit in the office

  • Global team events and an international, collaborative work environment
