The SEO team owns one of the core customer acquisition channels for ScrapingBee, driving visibility and organic growth for a product loved by developers globally. As an AI Search and SEO Specialist, you will help develop and execute a dual strategy to boost traditional search visibility and drive our presence in AI-generated responses. With a heavy focus on AI search we are actively evolving our approach to ensure our content is perfectly positioned for large language models. Sounds about right? Let's talk!

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and execute the AI Search and SEO strategy, tracking keyword rankings, citation rates, mention frequencies, and sentiment across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and AI Overviews.
  • Conduct keyword and prompt research to prioritize growth opportunities, preparing briefs and guiding our content creators to ensure every new piece is built to be cited and ranked.
  • Build and maintain an AI visibility measurement framework, regularly analyzing metrics and reporting on when and why our visibility shifts in LLMs.
  • Work closely with external SEO agencies to implement high-quality backlink building strategies, reviewing URLs, checking SEO metrics, and providing direct feedback.
  • Audit and evolve our content architecture and technical SEO health, collaborating with the web and engineering teams to ensure the site’s foundation supports machine discovery.
  • Own the execution of your strategies by making adjustments directly (e.g., updating landing pages) and coordinating smooth handoffs between content and web teams.
  • Stay on top of industry trends and artificial intelligence optimisation opportunities.

    • Your skills & experiences:

    • Minimum of 3 years of on-site SEO experience with a proven track record of measurable, data-driven growth in customer acquisition.
    • Hands-on exposure to GEO/AI search, coupled with a solid understanding of how large language models consume and act on web content.
    • Expertise across technical and off-page SEO strategies, with the resilience to navigate unpredictable search variables and algorithm updates creatively.
    • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to take full ownership of results and communicate complex technical information in simple terms.
    • A proactive, problem-solving attitude, genuine curiosity to learn what's next in AI search, and a great sense of humor to fit right into our culture.
    • Fluency in English (written and verbal).

    Nice to Have:

    • Experience in SEO for high-traffic global products.
    • Hands-on experience with prompt engineering or LLM evaluation.
    • Familiarity with agentic AI workflows.
    • Previous experience working in-house.

    Tech stack:

    • AI visibility tools: Profound, Peec AI, AI Clicks, TrendOS, or similar
    • SEO tools: Ahrefs, Google Search Console (GSC), Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Screaming Frog (must-haves), Surfer SEO, SEMRush
    • Business Intelligence tools: PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker

    Salary & Benefits:

    • Gross salary: 3000 - 4400 EUR/month. Keep in mind that we are open to discuss a different salary based on your skills and competencies.
