AI Search Strategist
Full-time | Remote, Philippines
Creo Collective
About Creo Collective
Creo Collective is a full-service B2B marketing agency. We help technology companies strengthen their market presence and generate business opportunities.
In this role, you will evaluate how companies appear in AI search results, analyze the findings, and present clear recommendations to help prospective clients improve their visibility. You will identify ways to make the audit process more efficient while maintaining accuracy and quality.
About the role
Each audit examines how a company appears across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini, which competitors appear in relevant answers, and what actions the company should prioritize.
You will work from Creo’s documented methodology, testing six buyer questions across three platforms with three runs per question. You will combine those findings with Semrush research and produce a concise client report and an internal briefing.
You will coordinate with the U.S.-based Project Manager, who oversees priorities, scheduling, and delivery, and the Philippines-based Operations team, which provides operational support. You will own technical execution and quality, with the ability to deliver accurate work without routine technical supervision or extensive editing from US leadership.
Responsibilities
- Research prospects’ businesses, buyers, competitors, products, services, and supporting content.
- Develop and validate realistic buyer questions, distinguishing unbranded discovery from questions that explicitly name the company.
- Conduct repeatable tests across AI platforms and maintain complete records of responses, citations, settings, and testing dates.
- Use Semrush to analyze competitor performance, keyword gaps, priority pages, and relevant technical findings.
- Apply Creo’s scoring methodology consistently, calculate results in spreadsheets or code, and investigate inconsistent findings.
- Verify citations, factual descriptions, and competitor-page content before drawing conclusions.
- Produce clear, prospect-ready reports with up to three prioritized, evidence-based recommendations.
- Lead 30-minute audit walkthroughs, explain limitations, answer questions, and document the prospect’s goals and needs.
- Prepare an informed handoff to Creo’s sales team when a prospect is interested in ongoing support.
- Identify repetitive tasks that could be automated and work with technical support to verify that automated outputs meet the audit’s quality standards.
- Track turnaround time, hours per audit, tool costs, and capacity.
- Maintain documented procedures and company-owned workflows so the process can scale.
Required qualifications
- Demonstrated experience independently completing SEO audits, competitor analysis and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
- Strong working knowledge of Semrush, including competitor research and keyword-gap analysis.
- Strong spreadsheet skills and attention to data accuracy.
- Ability to check AI-generated findings against source evidence, identify errors, and explain when the available information does not support a conclusion.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with experience explaining technical findings to business audiences.
- Ability to manage deadlines, make sound technical decisions, and recognize when evidence is insufficient.
- Availability for scheduled meetings and prospect walkthroughs during US Eastern business hours.
Preferred experience
- Practical experience assessing how brands appear in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, or other AI search tools.
- Technical SEO, crawlability, structured data, and content evaluation.
- Familiarity with automation tools, Python, or API integrations is a plus. Automation development is not required for this role and will be assessed separately.
- B2B software, SaaS, IT services, or other technology companies.
- Agency work involving multiple clients or simultaneous projects.
Initial priorities
During your first 60 days, you will:
- Learn and validate Creo’s audit methodology.
- Complete pilot audits and establish realistic delivery times.
- Identify and resolve gaps in the capture and scoring process.
- Establish a reliable audit process and, where automation is introduced, check its outputs against the source evidence with support from the technical owner.
- Produce accurate reports and deliver clear walkthroughs independently.
- Document a repeatable workflow and recommend improvements to quality and efficiency.
How success will be measured
- Accurate, traceable findings and correctly calculated scores.
- Clear recommendations supported by evidence.
- On-time delivery with minimal rework.
- Professional prospect communication.
- Reduced manual effort without sacrificing quality.
- Reliable documentation, workload reporting, and sales handoffs.
Why join Creo Collective?
- Join a close-knit team based in the Philippines.
- We’re committed to your growth and development, just like we are with our U.S.-based team members.
