The Role

The AI Solutions Associate will support AI initiatives through research, data analysis, and pilot testing. Reporting to the AI Solutions & Implementation Manager, this person will take responsibility for prior scoped assignments, with guidance on priorities and approach. The initial focus is on evaluating and testing third-party AI platforms.

The Manager will set priorities and lead pilot design, vendor selection, and rollout decisions. The Senior Associate will contribute analysis and recommendations, working with business teams and vendors on assigned tasks. The ideal candidate brings relevant business experience, strong analytical skills, and enthusiasm for learning how AI can improve business operations.

Location

This is a hybrid role based in NYC.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze operational data to help size opportunities and estimate potential benefits and costs for assigned AI initiatives.
• Research AI tools and vendors, compare capabilities and pricing, and summarize findings and open questions.
• Gather information from business teams and document current workflows and requirements for assigned projects.
• Support vendor pilots by testing agreed scenarios, checking outputs, and documenting issues and user feedback.
• Track agreed performance metrics, analyze pilot results, and prepare draft updates and suggested next steps for review.
• Maintain project trackers, follow up on assigned actions with internal teams and vendors, and flag blockers to the Manager.

What You Bring

• 2+ years of relevant experience in management consulting, business operations, strategy, analytics, or technology implementation
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with spreadsheets and operational data.
• Ability to organize findings and communicate them clearly in writing, presentations, and conversations.
• Strong attention to detail, reliable follow-through, and willingness to seek guidance and incorporate feedback.
• Interest in applying AI to business problems, supported by tools, projects, or experiments you have explored yourself.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
• Experience using Python or SQL for data analysis or simple automation.
• Familiarity with AI tools, workflow automation, or basic API concepts.
• Exposure to vendor research, software testing, or operational improvement projects.

Base Salary

The base salary range is $140,000-$150,000 annually.

Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise, location and current market data and may vary from the range above.
