AI Tools Associate

p>We are looking for an AI Tools Associate to support our commercial research and counterparty analysis for an engagement involving a leading Rotterdam-based logistics firm. Gulf Associates provides advisory services for high-stakes investment and partnership decisions where ground reality is more important than theoretical reports. In this role, you will help our partners use artificial intelligence tools to better understand market dynamics and the behavior of competitors. This is a fully remote position that requires a disciplined approach to research and a focus on practical commercial outcomes.
What you will do

• Configure and use various AI platforms to gather specific commercial intelligence on counterparties and market trends.
• Draft and refine prompts to extract useful insights from complex logistics reports and investment documents.
• Summarize regulatory changes and technical data using AI tools to help the senior team prepare for client negotiations.
• Monitor the accuracy of AI-generated content to ensure every piece of evidence we present is grounded in reality.
• Maintain an organized internal database of AI workflows that support our decision-support services.
• Help build scenario models that evaluate how different logistics disruptions might affect capital deployment.
• Support the partners in drafting clear, evidence-based positions for chief executives and sovereign entities.
• Research new software tools that can improve the speed and quality of our commercial analysis.

What you bring

• A high level of commercial curiosity and an interest in how large-scale logistics and investments operate.
• Basic familiarity with AI tools and large language models, alongside a willingness to learn new systems quickly.
