Role description
Proacto is recruiting assessors for the Air Transport Dangerous Goods Practitioner programme. This is a long-term, ongoing project and the work is remote and online.
You will assess learners against the programme: preparing assessment plans, conducting formative and summative assessments, evaluating portfolios of evidence, giving learners clear feedback and keeping accurate assessment records. You will work alongside facilitators and internal quality assurance, take part in assessment reviews, and help improve assessment instruments.
Requirements
- Completed assessor qualification
- Relevant air transport dangerous goods experience, including working knowledge of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations
- A dangerous goods, aviation, logistics or safety qualification at or above the level of the programme being assessed
- Strong understanding of assessment principles, quality assurance and learner evidence
- Accurate record keeping and comfort working in a learning management system
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple assessment schedules and meet deadlines
- Ability to maintain professional, fair and credible assessment standards
Advantage
- Current assessor registration with the relevant SETA
- Experience assessing dangerous goods or aviation programmes in a vocational or workplace setting
