Rotterdam (Hybrid) | 32–40 hours | €3,000–€6,000 gross/month
Do you have experience in aircraft component repairs, MRO or aviation aftermarket operations? Ready to take ownership of the entire repair process, from managing quotations and coordinating repair stations to ensuring components reach customers on time?
Join a growing aviation company in Rotterdam, work with international partners across Europe and the US, and earn up to €6,000 gross per month.
Our client is a Rotterdam-based aviation company specialising in aircraft parts trading, component repair management and international aviation logistics.
Founded in 2023 and led by a team with over 15 years of experience in aircraft and component maintenance, the company supports passenger and cargo operations worldwide. Its services range from sourcing aircraft components and coordinating repairs to managing time-critical deliveries and AOG requirements.
To support their continued growth, they're looking for two Aircraft Component Repair Specialists who can independently manage repair orders, coordinate international repair partners and ensure customers receive reliable, cost-effective solutions.
You'll manage aircraft component repairs from the initial repair request through to the return of a certified, serviceable component.
- Repair management: Coordinate repair orders for rotable and repairable aircraft components with EASA/FAA Part-145 repair stations.
- Quotations & approvals: Review repair quotations, evaluate proposed workscopes and coordinate repair approvals.
- Vendor coordination: Manage communication with repair stations across Europe and the US, resolve operational issues and follow up on outstanding repairs.
- Turnaround times: Monitor repair progress, track TAT and take action to prevent unnecessary delays.
- Cost control: Review repair costs, compare quotations and monitor vendor performance.
- Quality documentation: Verify relevant repair documentation, including EASA Form 1 and FAA 8130-3 certificates where applicable.
- International logistics: Coordinate component shipments, return logistics and deliveries with internal teams and logistics partners.
- Customer communication: Provide clear updates on repair status, delivery schedules and time-critical requirements.
You understand the aviation maintenance environment and know what it takes to manage component repairs efficiently. You're organised, commercially aware and comfortable working with international suppliers and customers.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant aviation experience, preferably in component repair management, MRO, aviation aftermarket operations or aircraft component trading.
- Understanding of aircraft components, repair processes and EASA/FAA Part-145 requirements.
- Experience with repair orders, quotations, vendor coordination or related maintenance activities.
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple repair orders, deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Professional English proficiency, both written and spoken.
Nice to have
- Experience with international aviation logistics, customs procedures or Incoterms.
- Knowledge of EASA Form 1, FAA 8130-3 or other airworthiness documentation.
- Experience with aviation ERP systems such as AMOS, Quantum or SAP.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with repair cost analysis or vendor performance reporting.
- A degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Dutch or another European language.
- €3,000–€6,000 gross/month, depending on experience.
- 30 vacation days to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
- Hybrid working with flexibility in your working arrangements.
- Travel allowance for commuting expenses.
- Company car, negotiable depending on experience and responsibilities.
- International exposure through collaboration with aviation partners across Europe and the US.
- Real ownership of repair processes and vendor relationships.
- Growth opportunities as part of an expanding international aviation company.
At our client, you'll be part of a company where technical expertise, commercial awareness and operational efficiency come together.
You'll work closely with an experienced aviation team, manage international repair operations and take responsibility for processes that directly impact aircraft availability and customer satisfaction.
With a growing international network and a hands-on approach, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution while developing your expertise in aircraft component repair management.
