📍 Location: Guadalajara, Mexico | 💰 $18,000–$20,000 MXN net/month | Hybrid after 6 months
Are you an international logistics professional with experience in airfreight export operations and advanced English communication skills?
We are looking for an Airfreight Operations Specialist to join our team and coordinate international air shipments, ensuring accurate documentation, smooth communication with airlines and agents, and compliance with customer-specific requirements.
This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in Air Export (Expo) who enjoys coordinating shipments, solving operational challenges, and delivering excellent customer service.
- Coordinate airfreight shipments with airlines, carriers, and origin and destination agents.
- Prepare, issue, and process Air Waybills (AWBs) for export shipments, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage export shipment closing procedures and transmit required shipment information and AWBs to SAT.
- Coordinate EUR.1 movement certificates and other documentation required for import operations.
- Download and review CASS (Cargo Accounts Settlement Systems) information and documentation.
- Follow customer-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and applicable operational requirements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant TSA requirements and ACE Quality Assurance Standards.
- Coordinate special shipments, including perishables, medicines, and samples, when required.
- Maintain effective communication with customers, airlines, agents, and internal teams throughout the shipment process.
- Bachelor's degree in International Affairs, Logistics, International Business, or a related field.
- Previous experience in airfreight, freight forwarding, or international logistics.
- Strong hands-on experience in Air Export is highly preferred. Air Import experience is a plus, but the role focuses primarily on export operations.
- Knowledge of AWB preparation and processing, export documentation, and shipment coordination.
- Advanced English speaking skills are required to communicate effectively with international customers and business partners.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously.
- Monthly net salary: $18,000–$20,000 MXN
