Amazon Creative Designer

Is this job info correct?

We build Amazon brand pages that people stop and look at. A+ content, brand stories, mini infographic modules, and product images that don't look like everything else in the category.

This is not a template job.

You won't be dropping product photos into a pre-made grid. You'll study the niche, look at what the top sellers are doing, and then design something that beats them. If you think of yourself as a tool operator, this isn't your role. If you think of yourself as a designer who competes, keep reading.

What you'll actually do

  • Design full A+ content (Premium A+ where it fits): brand story modules, comparison charts, feature callouts, and lifestyle-driven layouts.
  • Build mini materials — infographic tiles, hero images, icon sets, badges, and image-stack sequences for the main listing.
  • Study each product's niche before you design. Look at the top 10-20 competitors, find the visual patterns everyone repeats, and design against them so our brand stands out on the search page and the detail page.
  • Run a real competitor teardown: what claims they lead with, how they use color and hierarchy, where their images are weak, and where we can win.
  • Turn dry product specs into a clear visual story a shopper understands in three seconds.
  • Come up with image concepts none of the competitors are using — new angles, new framing, new ways to show the product in use.
  • Create 3D-style main images and clean product renders — build or stage the product in 3D when a photo can't get the shot we need.
  • Use AI as a tool, not a shortcut. We don't want AI-looking images. Use it to speed up backgrounds, cleanup, or ideation, then finish by hand so the result looks real and out-of-the-box.

Who we're looking for

  • A creative designer, not a production assistant. You have taste and a point of view, and you can defend your choices.
  • You can work from a blank page. Give you a product and a niche, and you come back with a concept and a reason behind it.
  • You understand Amazon: how the main image, the image stack, and A+ content work together, and what Amazon does and doesn't allow.
  • You think about the shopper and the sale, not just the pixels. Your design has a job: get the click and the add-to-cart.
  • You can look at a category, spot what's overdone, and go the other way.

Requirements

  • 2+ years designing for e-commerce, with real Amazon A+ / listing work in your portfolio.
  • Strong Photoshop and Illustrator (or equivalent). Figma is a plus.
  • A portfolio that shows before/after listings or full A+ builds — not just pretty graphics.
  • Solid English for written briefs and feedback.
  • Reliable setup for full-time remote work with overlap hours we'll agree on.

Requirements — 3D and AI (important for this role)

  • You can create 3D-style main images and product renders (Blender, Cinema 4D, KeyShot, or similar). Not a "nice to have" — we want it in the portfolio.
  • You use AI tools well but you don't hand us AI-looking images. AI helps you work faster; the final image looks real and made on purpose. If your portfolio is full of obvious AI renders, this isn't the role.

Nice to have

  • Strong photo compositing / retouching.
  • Experience running or reading competitor and niche analysis.
  • Copy sense — you can lay out a claim so it reads clearly, even if you're not the writer.

How to apply

Fill out the form and include a portfolio link (Behance, Dribbble, PDF, or Drive).

Applications without a portfolio won't be reviewed. Strong candidates will be invited to a short paid test task.
