What You'll Do
- Deliver AMD brand, product, and sales enablement across commercial partner environments including distributors, VARs, NSPs, OEMs, sales conferences, and partner events.
- Manage and conduct face-to-face and virtual training, workshops, floor days, and other partner engagements.
- Understand partner and customer needs and determine the right enablement response—not simply fulfill the initial request.
- Mentor and coach commercial sales partners on AMD solutions, competitive positioning, and translating technology into practical customer value.
- Gather field intelligence on AMD, competitors, partner needs, customer objections, and emerging opportunities.
- Identify and follow through on opportunities created through training, events, and partner engagement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across AMD and the commercial channel while accurately reporting activity, insights, opportunities, KPIs, and outcomes.
What You'll Bring
Experience and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required with relevant experience.
- 3+ years of sales, training, or enablement experience in technology or commercial IT.
- Strong training, presentation, and facilitation experience in group and virtual settings.
- Commercial distribution and channel experience strongly preferred, including experience working with organizations such as D&H, Ingram Micro, CDW, OEMs, VARs, NSPs, or similar commercial partners.
Skills and Attributes:
- Up to 50% overnight travel required.
- Well versed in Commercial IT and the commercial channel.
- Strong sales, presentation, training, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to translate technical capabilities into practical business and customer value.
- Curious, consultative problem solver who looks beyond the request to understand the underlying need.
- Able to recognize patterns and turn field activity into actionable commercial insights.
- Goal-oriented, results-driven, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.
- Comfortable with CRM, AI, reporting, and modern productivity tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
