About the Company
Our client is an established Australian design services consultancy, headquartered in Adelaide, delivering complex engineering and technology solutions to clients across Australia.
Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Analog Design Engineer to join their engineering team and work across a range of technically challenging projects.
The Role
As an Analog Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of analog electronic systems and circuits. You will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop high performance hardware solutions from initial requirements through to design, testing and production.
The role will provide the opportunity to work across a variety of projects while taking ownership of analog design activities and contributing to overall system architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop analog electronic circuits and systems.
- Translate system requirements into robust hardware solutions.
- Perform circuit analysis, simulation and design verification.
- Develop schematics and support PCB design activities.
- Work closely with digital, FPGA, firmware and systems engineers.
- Select components and contribute to hardware architecture decisions.
- Support prototype development, testing and debugging.
- Identify and resolve hardware design issues.
- Develop technical documentation and design specifications.
- Engage with customers and provide technical input throughout projects.
About You
You will have a strong background in analog electronics design, with experience developing and testing complex electronic systems.
Ideally, you will have experience with:
- Analog circuit design and analysis.
- Power supplies, signal conditioning and amplification.
- Circuit simulation and design verification.
- Schematic capture and PCB design.
- High-speed and mixed signal electronics.
- Component selection and hardware troubleshooting.
- Laboratory testing and debugging.
- Hardware development from concept through to production.
- Working within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Experience working within a design consultancy or engineering services environment would be highly advantageous.
