The Role
Aftera is looking for an Analog / Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer to join our team in Warsaw, Poland (on-site, or remotely within Poland). In this role, you will contribute to the design of high-performance analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits, with a focus on power management and amplifier design. Working as part of a small and highly cooperative engineering team, you will be involved throughout the complete design flow - from architecture definition and transistor-level circuit implementation to simulation, verification and silicon support. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in analog IC design, enjoys solving complex circuit challenges, and is passionate about developing high-performance integrated circuits. Experience in RF design is considered a strong advantage, and experience working with advanced process nodes is highly desirable.
What You'll Do
• Design high-performance analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits for power management applications.
• Develop transistor-level analog building blocks including regulators (LDO / switching), bandgap and voltage/current references, operational and other amplifiers, comparators, bias, protection and monitoring circuits.
• Contribute to RF and mixed-signal blocks where applicable.
• Perform pre- and post-layout simulations (AC, DC, transient, Monte Carlo, corner, noise, stability), analyze parasitics and ensure performance across PVT corners.
• Drive block-level verification and collaborate closely with layout engineers for optimal implementation.
• Contribute to top-level integration and mixed-signal verification.
What You Bring
• 5+ years of analog / mixed-signal IC design experience
• Strong understanding of device physics and CMOS analog design principles
• Experience in designing analog building blocks for power management ICs and amplifiers
• Deep experience with Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsys Custom Compiler and analog simulation tools (Spectre or equivalent)
• Solid understanding of noise, mismatch, stability and compensation, process variation, reliability and low-power design techniques
• Professional working proficiency in English (written and spoken) for collaboration in an international environment
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced team
What Makes You Stand Out
• Experience in advanced nodes (28nm and below, FinFET a plus)
• High-speed, low-noise, or precision analog background
• Experience with mixed-signal top-level integration
• Lab validation and silicon debug experience
Why Join Us
