As a member of the Early Engagement team, you’ll help create the experiences and communications that welcome new Cardmembers, help them get the most from their membership, and build engagement throughout their first year.

This is a role for someone who enjoys combining innovation, customer insights, and execution. You’ll have the opportunity to own meaningful work from idea to launch, collaborate with teams across the organization, test new approaches, launch campaigns and use performance insights to continuously make the Cardmember experience better.

You’ll play an active role in shaping and delivering our early-tenure marketing strategy, including:

  • Innovate on future of onboarding. Digitize and transform the next iteration of welcome packages to Cardmembers and work on new functionalities and experiences on the Amex App and Online portal.
  • Own campaigns from idea to launch. Lead end-to-end execution of marketing initiatives across digital and offline channels, partnering with creative agencies and internal teams along the way.
  • Create better customer experiences. Identify gaps and opportunities across the Cardmember journey and help develop, test, and launch new experiences and capabilities.
  • Turn data into action. Measure campaign and channel performance, uncover insights, and translate what you learn into clear recommendations and next steps.
  • Competitive review and reporting. Track performance against key KPIs, understand customer and competitive trends, and contribute to annual strategic marketing planning.
  • Collaborate across the business. Work with a broad network of partners—including Marketing, Servicing, Technology, Legal, Compliance, external agencies, and other teams—to bring ideas to life.
  • University degree in Business or Marketing or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong focus on innovation and initiative to own a project from conception through implementation and evaluation.
  • Proven ability to challenge the status quo to improve existing processes, campaigns, and assets.
  • Demonstrated multi-tasking, project management, attention to detail and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent relationship-building, collaboration, influencing, and communication skills across a diverse group of partners.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office suite (Powerpoint, Excel, Word).
  • 1+ years work experience in a Marketing or Product Management function.

The stated salary range represents the expected compensation for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
