OVERVIEW Individual taking up the role would help drive modernization, development and maintenance of Digital Manufacturing solutions such as TrakSYS MES, as a Senior D&T Analyst, ensuring the solutions are sustainable, and following General Mills’ Engineering standards. The role requires the ability to manage multiple initiatives and work well with various internal and external partners to bring capabilities to life across a variety of General Mills business teams. This role is estimated to be 70% analyst / support work and 30% development / technical work. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Work as an experienced professional for Manufacturing MES solutions, with expertise in TrakSYS MES application, manufacturing processes, and application integrations. Own the design, build, delivery, support, and continuous improvement of MES solutions to ensure business value and operational excellence. Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define and execute the Manufacturing digital technology roadmap. Evaluate and implement new technologies and process improvements across MES and related manufacturing systems. Ensure stability, performance, availability, and user satisfaction of TrakSYS MES applications. Lead coordination and resolution of major incidents, ensuring effective communication and minimal business disruption. Drive incident management, service support, and enhancement delivery in alignment with service level expectations. Enable adoption of manufacturing technologies through training, knowledge sharing, and capability development. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 6-10 years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting IT and digital manufacturing solutions in manufacturing environments. Hands-on experience delivering MES solutions, preferably TrakSYS, across areas such as Manufacturing Execution, Connected Worker, Quality, Packaging, Asset Maintenance, and Manufacturing Analytics. Strong functional and technical expertise in configuring, integrating, and supporting MES applications within complex manufacturing operations. Experience with enterprise application integrations using SQL, Oracle, REST APIs, SOAP, IDocs, RFCs, and MQTT. Proficiency in modern development technologies such as C#, .NET/.NET Core, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and cloud data platforms. Strong experience in testing, debugging, and supporting application and API integrations across manufacturing and enterprise systems. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline is required. A master’s or other advanced degree is preferred Experience with Agile techniques and methods, Add-on to have ITIL Project management experience ELIGIBILITY Applicants must meet minimum age qualifications in the country in which the job is located.
