We are a high-performing, collaborative organization committed to delivering value to the university. We invest globally across various asset classes, applying a clear set of responsible investing principles. Please refer to UTAM for more information about us.

The Position:

Title: Analyst, Investment Data and Systems

Type: Contract until December 31, 2027

Reports to: Senior Manager, Investment Data and Systems

Location: Toronto, ON (hybrid working options currently available)

Summary

Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Investment Data and Systems, you will play a key supporting role in maintaining and developing the team’s investment data infrastructure. The investment data infrastructure is represented primarily by an internally developed investment database (the “database”) that feeds multiple downstream processes. Under the direction of the Senior Manager, you will work closely with other analysts in the daily maintenance of the database and associated import/export protocols. You will also support other team members in the consolidation of investment data, automation of standard reporting functions and related production cycle and integrity checks and output, as well as support internal creators and consumers of data, as necessary, to ensure that investment data assets are available and fit for purpose for downstream systems and reporting functions.

You are the first line of defense for data monitoring, data quality assurance, and loading and delivering information to downstream internal systems and teams for consumption. In addition, you will provide support/backup for several key business processes that the team undertakes.

Please note this is a fixed-term position with an end date of December 31, 2027.
