- Monitor open findings, remediation milestones, dependencies, aging, and completion dates; follow up with action owners and escalate overdue, stalled, incomplete, or potentially ineffective remediation.
- Review and challenge action plans for clarity, feasibility, timeliness, responsiveness to root cause, and alignment with the audit finding.
- Perform or coordinate validation testing, document results and conclusions, and recommend completion or closure when sufficient evidence demonstrates that corrective actions are operating as intended.
- Maintain dashboards, status reports, and executive summaries covering active audits, outstanding requests, open findings, remediation progress, upcoming deadlines, and key risks.
- Identify recurring findings, common root causes, control weaknesses, and process-improvement opportunities, and maintain audit procedures, request trackers, evidence standards, templates, and communication protocols.
