As a member of our data practice, you will have the unique opportunity to shape and build various green field areas, making a lasting impact on our clients’ data landscape. Collaborating closely with leadership, you will play a key role in ingesting data for strategic business domains that can benefit from analytical insights. Your mission will be to deliver end-to-end data solutions, leveraging your expertise to unlock valuable insights and drive actionable decisions. As the driving force behind the acquisition and transformation of data sets, your contribution will be key to unlocking analytics insights from our client’s data. Occasional though infrequent travel to the United States may be required for some critical sessions. We have multiple job openings and are considering hiring across seniority levels. What We're Looking For 3+ years of relevant experience working with data, with specific experience in analytics and/or data engineering. Significant development and querying experience in SQL. Proficiency using Python. Demonstrated experiences partnering and designing solutions for business stakeholders such as finance or operations. Experience in working with Snowflake, Databricks, and/or Microsoft Fabric. Experience building CI/CD workflows for data. Experience in connecting and making data available for BI visualization tools or other downstream consumers. Experience with hardening and maturing data ecosystems such as tests, alerts, observability, documentation, etc. Expertise in relational databases, database structures and design, systems design, data management, and data warehouse; advanced programming skills. You must be located in Vancouver or Toronto. What You'll Do Develop data pipelines: develop code for data ingestion interfaces to meet specifications required by analytics teams, following best practices, company standards, and adhering to data models outlined by data architects – making design recommendations as appropriate. Work alongside our business consultants and product managers in engaging and partnering with client stakeholders in order to create effective and strategic solutions. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, identifying new tools and practices that can help the company achieve its strategic goals. Establish close communication with team members to align best practices, exchange information effectively, and collaborate for continuous improvement. Quickly triage and diagnose system or performance issues and support the business during critical downtimes and releases. Act as the technical expert, proposing solutions to roadblocks, outlining dependencies/constraints, and escalating problems as appropriate. Establish consistent communication mechanisms with project delivery teams. Establish relationships across the organization to build networks and leverage experts. Compensation Expected salary range is $75,000–$135,000 CAD annually . We’re hiring for multiple positions with varying levels of experience and seniority.
