About the Position: We are looking for an Automotive Android Architect This position is based at our office in Bangalore. Your Responsibilities will be: Job Summary: As a Software Architect, you will design and develop sophisticated system architectures for Android-based infotainment platforms. Your role will involve harmonizing the functionality between the user-friendly Android applications and the robust Linux-based systems that support them. Key Responsibilities: Architectural Design: Lead the design and architecture of Android-based infotainment solutions that provide cutting-edge user experiences. Ensure smooth integration of Android and Linux components within the system architecture. Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable and maintainable architecture solutions. Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams focusing on Android software and Linux system development. Keep abreast of the latest technologies and methodologies in Android and Linux ecosystems. Drive innovations by exploring new technologies and methodologies to enhance product performance and user experience. Development and Integration: Oversee the implementation of Android platform features, ensuring high performance and UX. Collaborate with Linux development teams to enhance platform reliability and scalability. Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices. Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and implement strategies for testing to ensure robustness and performance consistency. Lead troubleshooting and debugging efforts to resolve complex architectural issues. Project Management: Coordinate with project managers to align on timelines and deliverables. Contribute to planning and resource allocation to optimize project efficiency and effectiveness. What Qualifications you will bring: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Over 5 years of experience in software architecture with a focus on Android development. Strong expertise in designing and integrating Linux-based systems. Deep understanding of automotive infotainment technologies and ecosystems. Experience with communication and connectivity protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi). Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work under dynamic conditions. Excellent communication skills, enabling collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders. Prior experience in the automotive technology industry is a strong advantage. Other skills that we would welcome: Preferred Skills: Experience with Agile/Scrum project management methodologies.
