Role Description This is a full-time hybrid Android Developer role based in Benito Juárez, CMX, with the flexibility to work from home part of the time. The Android Developer will design, build, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform, ensuring usability, performance, and security. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with product and design teams to translate requirements into technical solutions, implementing intuitive user interfaces following Android design principles, and integrating APIs and backend services. The role also involves troubleshooting and debugging issues, writing clean and maintainable code, participating in code reviews, and contributing to continuous improvement of development processes and standards.

Responsibilities:

• We are seeking a Mid - level Android Mobile Developer to drive the design, development, and evolution of high-quality mobile applications. This role will be responsible for defining mobile architecture, mentoring engineers, and delivering scalable, high-performance Android solutions. The ideal candidate is hands-on, technically strong in Kotlin, and passionate about building modern Android applications using Jetpack Compose.
• Key Responsibilities
• Define and enforce mobile architecture standards (MVVM, Clean Architecture, modularization, design patterns)
• Drive migration and development of UI using Jetpack Compose
• Design and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs with secure, scalable mobile solutions
• Collaborate with product, UX, backend, and DevOps teams to deliver enterprise-grade mobile apps
• Review code, ensure best practices, and maintain high standards for performance, security, and scalability
• Mentor developers, conduct technical interviews, and contribute to engineering excellence
• Establish CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and release best practices
• Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and Android platform updates

Required Skills & Experience

• 5 years of mobile development experience, with strong focus on Android
• Expert-level Kotlin development
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android UI practices
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Coroutines, Flow, and modern app architecture
• Solid experience integrating RESTful and GraphQL services
• Deep understanding of mobile system design, performance optimization, and security
• Experience in technical leadership or architecture roles
• Strong experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and Play Store deployments

Good to Have

• Experience with large-scale or enterprise mobile platforms
• Knowledge of mobile DevOps, Firebase, and analytics tools
• Exposure to cloud-backed mobile ecosystems (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience modernizing or migrating legacy Android apps to Compose
