About You

In this Supply Chain role, you’ll focus on delivering value across our Australia and New Zealand logistics network while supporting key business priorities around cost optimisation, supplier performance, and service excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

• Own the sourcing strategy and execution for warehousing, distribution, and ground transportation services across Australia and New Zealand
• Lead supplier negotiations, contracting activities, and commercial agreements to deliver cost, cash, and supply continuity objectives
• Develop category cost models, market intelligence, and should-cost analyses to support strategic sourcing decisions
• Manage supplier relationships and performance through scorecards, business reviews, and risk mitigation activities
• Negotiate carrier and 3PL contracts, rates, and service levels while leading regular benchmarking and tender events
• Partner closely with Logistics Operations teams to support network changes, service improvements, and operational excellence initiatives

Required Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management
• Experience managing logistics, transportation, warehousing, or distribution categories
• Strong commercial negotiation, supplier management, and contract management capabilities
• Excellent analytical skills, including cost modelling and market analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of 3PL operating models and transportation market dynamics
• Experience working within a global or regional matrix organisation
• Exposure to supplier performance management frameworks and strategic sourcing methodologies
• Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Business, or a related discipline

You will collaborate closely with Supply Chain and Logistics Operations teams, Distribution and Warehouse teams, Customer Service, Finance, carriers, and 3PL providers.
