Job Title: Candidate Manager & Sourcer Location: Remote Type: Full-time Reports To: Founder About the Role We're a specialist recruitment business focused on civil and structural engineering talent across Southeast Queensland's building and development sector. We operate on a relationship-led model, prioritising long-term partnerships over transactional recruitment. AI and automation now handle the operational and admin workload, freeing up this role to focus purely on people: sourcing, screening, and relationship-building. This is a communication-heavy role — LinkedIn outreach, candidate screening calls, and ongoing engagement — for someone warm, proactive, and confident representing the Founder directly with candidates. Key Responsibilities Build and manage LinkedIn sourcing projects; identify and shortlist high-quality candidates Conduct candidate screening calls ahead of Founder meetings; gather and summarise candidate fit, motivation, and availability Act as primary point of contact for candidates; maintain warm, consistent communication and run nurture workflows Maintain accurate, enriched candidate records in the CRM Provide structured end-of-day reports and participate in regular check-ins Support the Founder by preparing shortlists, summaries, and candidate insights; act as a thinking partner, not just an executor Essential Skills & Experience Previous experience supporting a recruitment agency or recruitment function Confident, warm verbal communication — comfortable with outbound and screening calls Strong written and verbal English Strong LinkedIn sourcing capability Confidence working with CRMs and candidate databases High attention to detail and process discipline Highly Desirable Experience with recruitment automation tools and email sequencing Experience supporting founder-led or small recruitment businesses Exposure to Australian recruitment markets You'll work closely with the Founder, represent the business directly with candidates, and help shape how we do things as we scale.
