Job Description
Agilent's Cell Analysis, Genomics and Pathology portfolio continues to expand across Asia Pacific, and bringing each new product to market means bringing together regulatory registration, technical enablement and a channel network ready to sell and support it — in every country, on a schedule.
This is a newly created regional position that owns exactly that. You will lead the country-level execution of new product introductions across APAC region: building the launch plan market by market, driving regulatory readiness with local Regulatory Affairs and specialist registration partners, and preparing our channel partners to demonstrate, sell and support new products from day one.
You will work across Global Product Launch, Regulatory Affairs, Regional Technical Solution Specialists, Country commercial teams and channel partners, coordinating a critical path that runs from global product readiness through to first customer adoption.
In this role you will:
- Manage the delivery of integrated, multi-country new product launch programs, from global product readiness through regulatory clearance, technical and channel readiness, market activation and first customer adoption.
- Determine the overall program plan, budget, structure, schedule and resourcing for each priority launch, market by market — registration route, licence holder or agent, documentation and localisation requirements, enablement, demo instruments and target activation dates.
- Drive and deliver results according to agreed project scope, cost, quality and timeline milestones.
- Take accountability for risk assessment, identifying critical-path dependencies early and communicating them clearly to stakeholders at country, regional and global level.
- Serve as the direct contact between channel partners, specialist regulatory partners and Agilent project stakeholders.
- Support channel partners in implementing launch readiness: product and application training, competency certification, demo instrument allocation and installation, ordering and inventory access, and target account planning.
- Identify, qualify, onboard and manage third-party regulatory and registration partners to agreed deliverables and service levels.
- Track program costs and expenses against defined metrics, communicate deviations, and monitor launch performance against the business case.
- Own the costing of country registration and readiness programs, including third-party scopes of work, and ensure delivery within approved budgets.
- Build and maintain relationships with channel partners, regulatory partners and country commercial organizations.
- Establish launch governance for the region: a single readiness view by product and country, with clear owners and escalation paths.
Partner contracts, pricing and commercial performance management remain with country commercial and channel management. Regulatory strategy, submissions and regulatory decisions remain with Regulatory Affairs. This position owns the program execution that brings these together.
The role requires approximately up to 40% travel across India and the broader APAC markets.
Must consent to participate and meet Agilent approved customer/vendor credentialing requirements necessary to gain access to customer sites. Requirements may include, but are not limited to, proof of identification, proof of certification to perform the work required, and customer health and safety requirements.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a life science, engineering or related discipline.
- 5–8 years of experience in product launch, commercial, channel partner management within medical diagnostics — in vitro diagnostics or laboratory instrumentation.
- Product launches owned end to end, from plan through to first sale.
- Strong project management discipline: critical paths, gates, dependency mapping and risk control. PMP, Lean or an equivalent structured methodology.
- Multi-country delivery experience across India and APAC markets, with the credibility to operate across distinct regulatory and commercial environments.
- Experience directing external vendors, consultants or agencies to deliverables and service levels.
- Willingness to travel approximately 40% within the region.
Preferred
- Experience with cell analysis, genomics or pathology product lines.
- Commercial enablement at scale: partner training, competency certification and demo fleet planning across an indirect channel.
- Working knowledge of diagnostic instrument regulatory pathways, including CDSCO and ASEAN regimes, as an informed program manager working alongside regulatory specialists.
- MBA from a leading business school, or a comparable postgraduate business qualification.
