API and Integration Architect InnoWave is looking for an experienced and strategic professional to join our team. API and Integration Architect Responsibilities Design and define integration architectures for complex enterprise environments. Establish integration standards, governance models, and technical guidelines across platforms and teams. Define and promote best practices for APIs, integration patterns, and modern integration strategies. Lead the specification of complex application integrations, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability. Present and defend architectural decisions and integration strategies to technical and business stakeholders. Collaborate with global and cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and enterprise transformation programs. Analyze existing integration landscapes and identify opportunities for optimization and modernization. Support the adoption of new integration technologies, platforms, and market trends. Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements, including GDPR. Participate actively in Agile environments and strategic delivery initiatives. Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement processes. Skills Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in Integration Architecture, API Management, or related roles. Strong knowledge of integration platforms, integration patterns, and API-led architectures. Experience defining integration governance models, standards, and architectural guidelines. Experience designing and documenting complex integration solutions. Ability to communicate and present technical solutions to different stakeholder profiles. Experience working on strategic and enterprise-scale projects. Knowledge of Energy & Utilities market and GDPR regulations is valued. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence is valued. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in global environments. Fluent in English – written and spoken. Portuguese and Spanish are valued.
