Senior API Integration Delivery Lead / Technical Coordinator

Would you like to start a new professional adventure as a Senior API Integration Delivery Lead / Technical Coordinator in one of our opportunities in the Technology and API Integration sector in Portugal, full-remote?

👉 What will you do?

• Take end-to-end ownership of API onboarding projects, from requirements gathering through production deployment.
• Coordinate API providers and consumers, Enterprise Architecture, networking, API Gateway engineers, Akamai and Change Management teams.
• Follow up on Integration Analysis activities, technical dependencies, DNS, backend connectivity and network routing.
• Coordinate MuleSoft API Gateway configuration and delivery, ensuring that technical actions, owners and deadlines are clearly defined.
• Drive end-to-end testing, production readiness, technical runbooks and Confluence documentation.
• Prepare and track ServiceNow Change Requests, supporting controlled and well-documented production releases.

✍️ What are we looking for?

• At least 5 years of experience in integration, middleware, API management, infrastructure delivery or comparable technical environments.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, DNS, routing, proxies and reverse proxies, authentication and authorization, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, certificates and client credentials.
• Knowledge of enterprise network connectivity and how applications communicate across different network zones.
• Experience coordinating technical implementations across multiple teams and driving issues to resolution without direct hierarchical authority.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence and formal IT Change Management processes.
• Fluent English and the ability to read and understand integration or architecture designs, while working independently with limited supervision.

Nice to have:

• Experience with MuleSoft, Anypoint Platform or MuleSoft API Manager.
• Experience with API Gateway technologies such as Apigee, Azure API Management, Kong or AWS API Gateway.
• Experience with Akamai and ServiceNow Change Management.
• Knowledge of enterprise IAM and Identity Provider integrations.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated platform configuration and end-to-end application connectivity troubleshooting.

💰 Compensation and transparency

• Gross Annual Salary Range: EUR €29,500 – €54,500
• CCNL del Commercio.
