Application Architect (Oracle CPQ) - Mandarin fluency required

Job Title: Oracle CPQ Application Architect (Mandarin fluency is required) Classification: Exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) Reports to: President Work Location/Travel: Work is remote or on-site in Taiwan 50-75% This resource must be willing and able to travel as required by the customer project. This is generally negotiable, but not always, and could be as high as 75%. Job Summary: As an Oracle CPQ Cloud Application Architect, you will play a crucial role in creating and delivering comprehensive CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) solutions utilizing Oracle CPQ Cloud technology. You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs, architect solutions, and oversee the implementation process to ensure successful project delivery. Essential Functions: Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze their requirements. Design Oracle CPQ Cloud solutions that align with clients' business goals. Create architecture blueprints, technical documentation, and solution roadmaps. Lead cross-functional teams in the successful implementation of Oracle CPQ Cloud projects. Oversee configuration, customization, and integration of the CPQ solution. Ensure best practices and industry standards are followed throughout the project. Serve as an advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on CPQ Cloud solutions. Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Manage client relationships and expectations. Stay updated on Oracle CPQ Cloud capabilities and new features. Troubleshoot and resolve issues during project implementation. Provide mentorship to team members. Ensure the delivered Oracle CPQ Cloud solutions meet high-quality standards. Duties/Responsibilities: Maintain and pursue continuing education opportunities, such as training and certification exams. Participate on internal projects. Provide expertise and help to others, as needed, on projects. Performs other duties as assigned. Competency: Thorough understanding of information technology procedures and practices. Works well with a team Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Thorough understanding of Oracle project principles and planning. Proficient with, or able to quickly become proficient with, a range of general and specialized applications, software, and hardware used in the organization and the industry. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Supervisory Responsibilities: May assist with training members of the technical staff. May conduct interviews. Assigns duties and responsibilities and oversees workflow of project staff. May conduct project performance evaluations that are timely and constructive. Work Environment: The work environment is remote or on-site at a client location. While remote, employees are expected to provide an office space for themselves with a professional background (including virtual backgrounds) and noise level. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer. Bending, sitting, lifting, and/or driving. Position Type and expected hours of work: Full time work during Apex IT business hours and, at times, outside of business hours, if required. Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Information Science-related field or commensurate experience required. Fluent in Mandarin At least 5 years of related experience required. Preferred Education and Experience: Oracle CPQ Cloud certifications are a plus.
