Job Description Client An ICG client is seeking a banking strategy consultant working with the principal of a boutique consulting business to develop the strategy for a small Australian regional bank. Role Conduct desktop research using client data, available external data (e.g., ABS, APRA, etc.), and combine to identify patterns and trends to refine hypotheses Develop and explore selected scenarios to test strategies, using available data (including financial data) and well-documented assumptions Draft components for the strategy based on research findings; this would include well-structured slide decks Skills and experience required : Data modelling and analysis (e.g., statistical trends and patterns), including financial analysis (i.e., understands financial statements) Experienced in strategy formulation, including hypotheses development, testing and refinement Good structured communications – building and supporting strong argument, particularly slide decks and report writing Banking / financial services experience Logistics Start date: Immediate, with in the next week Duration: 4-6 weeks Location: Sydney (remote) Rate: The daily rate to the consultant will be $1,200 per day paid plus gst to the right professional.
