Summary:

The Application Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications and automation solutions that enhance business operations. Leads the analysis and translation of business requirements into scalable technical solutions, with a strong focus on system integration, data-driven decision-making, and process optimization. Collaborates across teams to maintain and improve application performance, ensure data integrity, and deliver efficient, reliable solutions aligned with organizational goals.

Essential functions of the role that can be performed with or without reasonable accommodation:

· Lead the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise applications and automation solutions to support business operations

· Analyze and translate complex business requirements and processes into scalable technical solutions

· Identify opportunities for process improvements, system enhancements, and automation to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort

· Develop and maintain custom applications and integrations using technologies such as C#, .NET, APIs (REST/SOAP), and SQL

· Work with relational databases and data models, including writing and optimizing SQL queries, procedures, and data transformations

· Design and support data structures, reporting models, and datasets to enable accurate and actionable business insights

· Build and maintain workflows and business applications using platforms such as SharePoint, PowerApps, or similar tools

· Ensure adherence to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices, including version control, testing, deployment, and documentation

· Perform data analysis, validation, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and integrity across systems

· Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar

· Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and data-related issues, providing timely support to business users

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT, and vendors, to deliver high-quality solutions

· Create and maintain technical and functional documentation, including system designs, workflows, and user guides

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

· 5–8+ years of experience in application development, systems integration, or software engineering roles

· Strong experience developing applications using C#, .NET framework, and Visual Studio

· Advanced proficiency in SQL, including complex queries, stored procedures, performance tuning, and data analysis

· Hands-on experience designing and implementing REST and/or SOAP API integrations

· Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including version control, testing, and deployment processes

· Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions

· Experience developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, or data visualizations (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools)

· Proficiency with source control systems (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps, or similar)

· Experience troubleshooting and resolving application, integration, and data-related issues in production environments

· Strong documentation skills, including creating technical specifications, system diagrams, and process documentation

· Ability to work independently and lead initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams

· Experience with NetSuite customization tools (e.g., SuiteScript, SuiteTalk), preferred

· Familiarity with middleware/integration platforms (e.g., Boomi, MuleSoft, or similar), preferred

· Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or similar), preferred

· Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, preferred

· Prior experience mentoring developers or leading technical projects, preferred

Language Skills: Must be fluent in speaking and writing the English language.

Work Hours: In a typical week, this position requires a minimum of 40 hours with regular and predictable attendance. Occasional weekend work and after business hours may be required.

Work Environment: This work is usually performed with normal noise levels and minimum exposure to hazardous conditions. Employees in this position are required to reside in a state where SAM is registered to conduct business.
