Capital I Recruitment has been engaged by the client—a Series B funded IoT-based energy efficiency building automation company—to identify and secure top talent for this strategic position.

Role: Application Engineer
Location: Bengaluru
Experience: 4–6 Years


Responsibilities:

  • Provide application and product support to internal teams and customers.

  • Serve as a product application expert, troubleshooting equipment controllers and advanced sequences of operation.

  • Deliver remote startup assistance and investigate technical issues, developing effective solutions and recommendations.

  • Maintain ongoing technical proficiency through training and professional development.

  • Support North American projects as part of a remote engineering and commissioning team.

  • Design and create sequences of operation for HVAC (air and water systems) to optimize building performance.

  • Develop workflows using real-time data and ensure seamless system integration.



Requirements

Skills & Experience

  • 4–6 years of experience in Commercial Building Automation Systems (BAS)

  • Experience working on North American projects, providing remote engineering and commissioning support

  • Niagara N4 certification

  • Strong knowledge of Tridium Wire Sheet programming

  • Experience designing, integrating, and troubleshooting systems using BACnet MSTP and Modbus RTU protocols

  • Expertise in Niagara worksheet programming for developing sequences in HVAC air and water systems

  • Hands-on experience with Niagara APIs to build workflows utilizing real-time data

  • Self-motivated, capable of working independently or as part of a team

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Min- Bachelors in Engineering- relevant field, masters additional
