Strategy Development

▪ Study the Data Center Liquid Cooling technical tendency and input for the product management and development.
▪ Observes market activities, especially the rubber hose, quick connections and valves in DC industry.
▪ Supports the Head of Application Engineering and Team Lead Application Engineering Fluid Handling Solutions in any kinds of strategic questions

Technical Consulting

▪ Consults customers(OEMs, End User, Distributors) within the located in Taiwan and South East Asia in Data Center fluid handling systems. Understand the Data Center development, familiar with thermal management, Server/AI hardware industry, Electronics manufacturing ecosystem and Semiconductor equipment. Give advice to the hose and connections developing and using.
▪ Practical understanding of direct-to-chip cooling, Cooling distribution units(CDU), Rack, cluster and room-level cooling architectures which will impact the hose, hose assemblies and quick disconnections application.
▪ Conducts field inspections of hoses and connections troubleshoot perceived problems for customers
▪ Attends strategic meetings with customers (OEMs, End User, Distributors) and conveyor design engineers on upcoming new product needs
▪ Performs trainings for customers (OEMs, End User, Distributors) in the regions on product and belt conveying technology
▪ Supports project lead in technical part of big/customer projects upon request
▪ Applies product engineering tools; specifies requirements and gives input for improvements of the software

Article Specification

▪ Designs products based on Master Specifications
▪ Creates specifications of products
▪ Supports internal projects for product specification tools
▪ Supports with representation of company interests in regional and global standardization committees and interest groups

Sales Channel, KAM & MarCom Support

▪ Supports Sales Channels, KAM & MarCom
▪ Supports Sales teams in quotation process, risk evaluation, feasibility checks, contract review regarding technical aspects and technical check of customer requirements
▪ Supports Sales on customer visits and award negotiations
▪ Prepares technical data, photos & videos for relevant events and products
▪ Attends on exhibitions, fairs & conferences
▪ Trains colleagues from other departments on products & systems
▪ Presents and publicates technical papers
▪ Supports on customer visits to CBG plants
▪ Tracks hose performance

R&D Support

▪ Supports BU funnel process with new products/ideas to enable Product Management to execute Business Cases
▪ Supports competitive technical benchmarking by understanding competitive offerings in the regions, supplying competitive samples and placing request to R&D for testing and analysis
▪ Coordinates and conducts field trials and follow-up for product performance evaluation
▪ Performs on site inspections to review product performance and initiates product optimization or development projects ▪Participate in projects for new product development or product optimization projects in the region

Quality & Complaint Management

▪ Safeguards commited standards of quality guidelines (internal and external), quality awareness, customer quality targets and observes customer care commitments
▪ Supports quality with review of claim incl. check of quotation process, manufacturing process & application including site visits
▪ Conducts internal rootcause analysis or on customer site including previous site visit reports, and internal or external testing ▪Provides techincal support for out of spec products to prevent returns or warranty claims

Entrepreneurial Responsibility, Finance & Controlling

▪ Ensures that all operations are performed in compliance with relevant local, state and federal laws and regulations
▪ Provides product and cost saving ideas to BU funnel process and BU manufacturing

Education / Certification

▪ University degree in Engineering or Science (Mechanical or Electronic Engineering preferred; Chemical, materials Engineering, considered)
▪ Technical or science studies (University / University of applied science)

Professional Experience

▪ Industry Know-how (Most Important), related to Data Center Liquid Cooling (preferred), Data center infrastructure, Thermal management, Server / AI hardware industry, Electronics manufacturing ecosystem, Semiconductor equipment industry, Industrial fluid handling systems
Practical understanding of: Direct-to-chip liquid cooling, Cooling distribution units (CDUs), Quick disconnect couplings, Hose assemblies, Rack, cluster and room-level cooling architectures, AI infrastructure ecosystem
▪ Taiwan & SEA Ecosystem Knowledge; ODMs (Quanta, Wiwynn, Inventec, Pegatron, Foxconn, etc.), Server builders, Thermal solution providers, CDU manufacturers, Electronics distributors, Data center supply chain
▪ Has basic knowledge of: Design-in processes, AVL/RVL qualification mechanisms, OEM procurement practices, How CSP requirements translate into supplier selection
▪ Excellent technical communication skills on
